at a two-way stop, in my neighboor and near where I live - where I was approaching from the direction with a stop sign, and opposite of me was a stop sign on the same street; when I had already entered the crosswalk the vehicle which had been parked on the street and which was coming from the opposite direction and had stopped at the stop sign, drove into the intersection turning while i had not cleared the crosswalk. they slowed down and stopped but they seemed distracted at best. i'm also the target of online abuse and harassment, coming from perhaps xQc's community but perhaps many others too, and am almost entirely certain i've been doxxed within the greater large-streamer Twitch react-content sphere since around 2021, and since then have been experiencing threats or in one instance a family member of mine was contacted in a scurrilous manner (indicating their info was phished from mine, which is not unusual at all for the capabilities as well as the lengths some of these 'stans' or ardent parasocial defenders of content creators will go). many of these content creators have communities with large amounts of viewers. given not all of them are in the US, many of them are. if xQc has a chatroom of live 30k viewers at any given moment for example, compare that to how many states or densely populated areas there are, and think about the odds that they live in my city, community, or even in the greater neighbourhood area. now combine that background information, my experience tonight (which, for all i know very well, may have been coincidental and unrelated to the targeted harassment I face online and sometimes in real life, as I've been documenting and posting online in other places since around 2022; and anyone reading this should treat it as such; but in my experience facing what I'm facing to maintain safety you must document everything.) combine those things with this clip, from 6 days prior to me having that experience, about xQc ominously warning someone he's addressing in his chat (ostensibly remains unclear, but I recorded this part because I strongly felt he was threatening me, as I indicated by showing the last bit of chat history I had before I was shadowbanned again, which happened as soon as i asked "is that a threat") https://streamable.com/1inp68 the clip was created from the VOD which had just happened recently, and the chat history in the other window is mine where i ask after he says that "is that a threat?" this is about several creators on the platform in 2021 setting me up to be targeted with abuse and harassment. I did NOT at the time use it to pursue 'clout' by posting a twitlonger or something like that (and still do not regret that) and I did NOT try to turn it into an 'insurance scam' or pretend to be a victim of something they put me through. starting in 2021 they had been putting me through something, and I did my best to wait it out and ignore it from around the Spring of 2021 until about a year later in May of 2022 when I started documenting things online. (I do regret not sticking up for myself sooner. when targeted with harassment, it can go both ways. saying nothing about it can make it worse. speaking up about it can also make it worse. accountability is perhaps one of the few things that will make it better) it's not about those things, though they may bring them up; 'insurance scam' or 'clout chaser' these are common methods to blame the victim, DARVO, or attack the victim's credibility. now if the driver's behavior tonight was coincidental, and it very well may have been and in all likelihood was, then it's not fair to either me or the driver that I'd have to be concerned about this being more than a distracted driver and me somehow having to fear about threats I've received online in clips such as this one that I'll post again: https://streamable.com/1inp68 with that said, I have to document everything and considering my experience tonight and considering only 6 days ago, the blood-chilling comment that felt as though it were directed at me (it was directed at someone anyway and you can tell from the VOD that some people in the chat were confused about it while others seem to have been in-the-know about something)
