The Enumclaw Middle School's Parent Drop-Off line is ridiculous in its layout, and having bus drivers who don't follow rules of the road makes it even worse. This is the only school I've known to have zero crossing-guards helping or any form of help at all, a drop-off line in the middle of moving traffic, and has an exit that wraps around to the entrance. The entire layout creates a very unsafe environment for both children and parents. This bus (A0691C) pulled out of the (EMS) bus loop right in front of me, cutting me off while driving my son to school. The bus driver then decided to not only pull out in front of me cutting me off, but then proceeded to come to an abrupt stop! The bus (A0691C) came to a complete stop in the middle of the road, without any signal lights (yellow or red flashing). This driver then put their right blinker on as if to go to the Bus Yard and continued to stay stopped (blocking my son and I behind them) and waited for another bus driver to approach the intersection. The bus didn't follow the flow of traffic, and instead decided to play traffic cop and allowed them to pull out in front of them. This maneuver managed to hold us up, and everyone behind us by not proceeding as expected. That's great that they wanted help a fellow bus driver, but it shouldn't be okay to do so while ignoring Road Laws and blocking the road for parents trying to get their children to school. Highly inappropriate! Someone official should take the time to see these repeated events during am and pm school drop-offs and pick-ups. I'm surprised that the transportation hub for Enumclaw employs these sort of bus drivers, because this isn't an isolated incident.
