My husband and I were driving home to Dallas from Houston and just after midnight heading north on I45 this Cadillac came up behind us in the fast lane and before he even got close he started flashing his lights at us. Even though I was already going 12 mph over the speed limit, I went ahead and got over to let him pass. After he passed us, I went ahead and got back over. Then, all of a sudden, he slammed on his brakes, causing us to almost hit him! This came out of nowhere as we were not even bothering him. So, fearing he was drunk or on drugs or was just trying to cause trouble, I got back over in the middle lane to avoid hitting him or having issues with him. He then swerved over in front of us again and then came to a complete stop on I45 in a 75 mph zone! As we were trying to get around his stopped car, he was yelling at us out his window that he was going to *** us! We got his license plate and called 911 at 12:09 am on July 10, 2026. After getting around this driver, he sped up again and was swerving and acting like he was going to hit us all while we were on the phone with 911! He finally sped off doing well over 100 mph. We will be filing an official police report tomorrow. This driver needs to be stopped before he *** somebody! It is obvious that this is not his first time after reading a public report made on him just a month ago!
Driver of this vehicle is a very aggressive and dangerous driver. Came up behind us on the freeway riding our tail. We could not get over due to other cars in the other lane. We sped up a little bit but the driver of this vehicle kept riding our tail and flashing headlights. Once we cleared the other vehicles, the driver of this vehicle laid on his horn while passing, swerved into our lane very close to our truck, flipped us off, then cut us off by quickly getting in our lane. Almost hit us. We had to slam on our brakes to avoid a collision. The driver didn’t get very far down the road before coming to more traffic, where he proceeded to do the same thing to a small SUV. We were on our way to dinner and just happened to have to take the same exit as this driver. As we got to the stoplight, this driver started to get out of his vehicle and threaten violence to both me and my fiancé. We called 911 but couldn’t wait for an officer to show up to file a report. I will be filing a report with a virtual officer once their offices open.
