Reckless driving
May 09, 2026 Type of bad driving to include: reckless, speeding, offensive, & road rage. At about 12:55pm on 5/9/26 this car was tailgating us for a while as we were driving the speed limit and sharing the road with cyclists. We stopped at a 3-way stop on Lake Washington Blvd & Madrona Drive. While we were waiting to turn left for the car with the right of way, the driver honked at us and yelled "go!". We would have collided with the other car if we did this. After we turned, they followed incredibly close and held the horn down non-stop and tried to pass us when it was not safe to do so. We did not let them. We gestured out of our window. We then pulled over so they could go ahead of us, whereby they would just come upon the car in front of us who was traveling at a safe speed. Then they flipped us off. They were driving way too fast and aggressively in this residential neighborhood. They endangered our entire family and probably those ahead that they were speeding off to.

Kia Motors America (Kia) is recalling certain 2011-2017 Optima, 2012-2017 Sorento and 2011-2018 Sportage vehicles that previously received an engine replacement under recall number 17V-224, warranty, or the Knock Sensor Detection System (KSDS) Product Improvement Campaign. The high pressure fuel pipe that connects to the fuel pump outlet may have been damaged, misaligned or improperly torqued during the engine replacement procedure, possibly causing a fuel leak.

Remedy
Kia will notify owners. For model year 2011 Sedona vehicles, Kia will instruct dealers to verify the ACU part number and, if necessary, install an extension wire harness kit between the ACU Connector and the Vehicle Harness Connector. For all other affected vehicles, Kia will instruct dealers to install the extension wire harness kit. The recall began September 28, 2018. Owners may contact Kia customer service at 1-800-333-4542.
