I was going to Mount Vernon to pick my boyfriend up from work and while I was getting on the exit, a dark blue semi pulled out right in front of me and blocked the whole exit lane. I had to slam on my brakes just to make sure I didn't hit the semi. It was midnight, so it was hard to see in general, but the semi driver didn't use any turn signals or look around because I was pretty close to hitting them, but thankfully I stopped. I'm also extremely thankful that no one behind me was trying to get off the exit because I had to stop so quickly I could have gotten into an accident. I don't even care if the person gets in trouble, I just want to make sure that the semi truck driver is being careful and actually paying attention because that was terrifying seeing a semi pull out on the exit while you're going 55 miles per hour and then you have to slam on the brakes and completely stop just to not hit the semi.
