My mom was driving her Lexus on a busy street in Studio City, CA. I was sitting in the backseat and the traffic that day was moderate. My mom was driving in her lane when she perceived that she had to stop her car. She cautiously stopped the car but the owner of this license plate or the man behind us did not bring his car to a stop fast enough. The owner of the car behind us hit the back of our car. Our heads went back and hit the back of our seats from the collision and we knew this driver had hit our car. My mom got out of the car and communicated to him where to go next. She was trying to gather his and his car insurance information and was certain she would successfully do it. He then followed us to a parking lot belonging to a bank, and that is where he deceived her. He gave my mom false insurance information! He gave her a counterfeit ID card (see photo) and his insurance was not found. He didn’t even have insurance with the insurance company he claimed. The owner of this car is a liar and a scammer. My mom was not able to fix the damage he caused to her car with this guy’s insurance. Don’t try obtaining this guy’s information because it is false and designed specifically to help him evade collision liability. Don’t trust that you will receive help from his insurance or that he will give you any authentic information about himself!
