Was coming down 3rd Street this morning 6/25/2026 at around 7:55 a.m. I stopped at the stop sign on Ferry Street, and there was a line of cars in front of me. I started driving through the stop sign, and this guy came flying on the right shoulder of the road (no lane) and cut me and the guy in front of me off. The guy in front of me then parked on the side of the road, and obviously I honked because he almost hit both of us and was doing illegal driving maneuvers. We then got through the green light on Main Street, and the next light on Columbia in front of the Lafayette Courthouse was red. He then stuck his whole body out the window to flip me off and called me dirty names, having a meltdown despite being the one speeding, making illegal lane changes, and driving like a maniac. He looked like a thug/gangster and had a DARE sticker on his license plate. I guarantee you that he was recently in jail for drugs or possibly even while driving. I just got his license plate; unfortunately, I wish I had a dashcam to capture his antics.
