This is a little more than a bad driving report, however, it is crucial information for the community. On April 18th, my husband and I were stopped at a rest area in Glenwood Springs. My husband was in our vehicle and I was walking alone near the river, away from the rest area. My husband noticed a suspicious man who seemed to be following me. As I got further away from the rest area, the man paused and looked towards the parking lot, then back at me approximately four times before pulling something out of his pocket and briskly advancing towards me. At that point, my husband got out of our car and confronted the man, asking what his intentions were. When my husband pulled out his phone and began taking photos, the man took off running in the opposite direction of the parking lot. We then got in our car and saw the man hiding in some bushes. At that point, we pretended to leave the rest area and witnessed the man sprinting towards the parking lot and to his vehicle. When he got into his vehicle, we attempted to follow him, and he began driving irrationally, as you can see in the video. We contacted the police but didn’t have any follow-up, so I assume that they were never able to make contact with the man. While I wasn’t aware of the man following me, my husband's reaction leaves no doubt in my mind that the man had very bad intentions.
