This BMW driver was behind me in a right lane where we both were merging left. I put my turn signal to turn left, and he whipped his suv around me as I was already merging into the left lane and took my space, almost hitting me. He also cut off and almost hit the other driver who had the right of way in the left lane, where I would have merged in front of. I honked my horn, but he didn't back off to let me merge into the left, and my lane was ending—I had to slam on my brakes. He sped up to the next car in front of him, and when we stopped, he picked up his phone to film me behind him. If he had merged correctly, he would have been two cars behind me. My husband, who was in the passenger seat, witnessed the entire incident as well. The driver was on his phone while driving and acted like he owned the road. In the video, you can see him looking at his phone. I only took a video because he started taking a video of me, acting like I was in the wrong.
