On the night of 4/11/2024 at approximately 8:24Pm I was attempting to cross the Birmingham bridge, when The white SUV (GMC Acadia) License plate (MCV-4285) was coming from the opposite side of the bridge and simultaneously attempted to make an illegal turn from it's side of travel to my side by forcing it's way into on coming traffic entering on to the bridge. The two vehicles front of me and myself honking our horns proceeded on to the bridge as the opposing SUV continued it's attempt to force it way on to my side of travel nearly contacting my vehicle as I managed to avoid. After witch I continued to cross dismissing the incident. Up on signaling and move to the appropriate lane to exit the bridge, suddenly I became aware of bright head lights approaching the rear of my vehicle at a high rate of speed, then felling a strong jolt as the SUV came into contact with the rear of my vehicle just as my vehicle recovered from a slight hydroplane, as it was raining heavily. I then activated my four ways and I observed the SUV do the same. As not to cause any other accidents, I proceeded to exit the bridge on to East Carson st. where I came to a stop as did the SUV but for a moment. Before proceeding to go around my vehicle and speeding away; forcing me to give chase in the attempt to record the license plate number of the now fleeing SUV with my front dash-cam. After it's several attempts to elude my vehicle, I managed to get close enough to capture the license plate of the fleeing SUV, while on the phone with 911 dispatch before braking off my chase. the SUV has yet to located by law enforcement.
