This afternoon between 1:30 and 2 PM on May 7th, 2025, at the intersection of South Main Street and Rogers Road, right past the Truist Bank, this person was in the right-turn-only lane to go onto Rogers Road. But instead of turning, they cut out in front of a black Hyundai Sonata into the straight lane, almost causing the Hyundai to rear-end them. I understand they might have made a mistake thinking they had to turn there but realized at the last second. However, it is much safer to make the turn and then go into a parking lot or somewhere to turn back around. Pay attention to your surroundings, people. Don’t do what this person did if you get into the wrong lane.
