Jan 09, 2025 January 9th, 2025, at around 5:45 am, the driver of the car was tailgating me in the left inner lane, urging me to go faster while another car was in the middle lane to my right, blocking me from merging out. I couldn't go faster because the road at this section of the Belt Parkway is really wavy, and going faster could damage the bottom of my car. Then, when the car to my right started to merge right, the tailgating car recklessly passed me from behind, cut in front of me, and slammed on the brakes. After a few seconds, the driver of the car littered from the vehicle, trying to throw things at my car.

Remedy
Toyota will notify its owners, and dealers will inspect the switch and apply a special grease that inhibits heat build up or replace any switch damaged by the defect, free of charge. Toyota owners that experience a problem with a switch should not attempt to make repairs, but should contact their Toyota dealer or the Toyota Customer Experience Center at 1-800-331-4331.
